The Role: Business Development Representative
You’ll be the first touchpoint for business owners across the country — sparking conversations, understanding needs, and helping them take the next step toward funding, stability, and scale. You’ll be trained in our process and backed by real underwriting support — not boilerplate scripts.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Engage new prospects through cold outreach, callbacks, and follow-up strategies
- Listen and qualify small business owners seeking capital for growth, projects, or restructuring
- Educate and guide business owners on their funding options — including terms, rates, and realistic timelines
- Work deals from first contact through file review and application — with the support of our internal underwriting and closing team
- Update and track all conversations through our CRM
You’re a Strong Fit If You:
- Have 1+ year of sales or outbound calling experience (funding, real estate, or B2B a plus)
- Communicate clearly, confidently, and with purpose — on phone, email, and text
- Take ownership — of your pipeline, your tone, and your results
- Thrive in fast-moving, money-driven environments
- Care about small businesses and want to help them grow
